Uthaar Chadhaav means ups and downs and this is how Mamta describes her abstract design on this rug. Using a consistent colour palette, she played with a range of designs that visually feel like they are going back and forth. Since this was her first Manchaha, she just decided to let herself lose and only in retrospect found the design taking this particular shape and she continued to do it to maintain that essence.
