Jovoy is the most glorious example of a phoenix perfume house restored way beyond its former 1920s glory As stories go, it is pretty romantic. Parisian perfumer Blanche Arvoy first created the house in 1923 right in the middle of the Roaring Twenties selling finger-on-the-pulse fashionable perfumes. Her shop on Rue de la Paix quickly became a destination for perfume lovers.
