Each Luminox watch contains small self luminous "gas lamp" made by a top Swiss Institute for lightning components Mb-Microtec. These individual lamps are gently incorporated into the hands, markers and in case of diving watches also to the rotating bezel. Carbon gives not only sporting and dynamic touch, but also creates durable strap with significantly increased lifespan. The lifetime of Luminox illumination LLT is up to 25 years and 100 times brighter than conventional watches. This type of material has high flexibility, is hypoallergenic, water resistant, and does not absorb sweat.
