Brand Cash Redemption – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the issuance, use, and redemption of digital brand cash (“Brand Cash”) redeemable on our website (www.tatacliq.com/ mobile app Tata Cliq Fashion or Tata Cliq Luxury (“Portals”). By using a Brand Cash, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Nature of the Brand Cash

  • “Brand Cash” refers to a prepaid, non-transferable, brand-specific promotional value issued to eligible users by Tata Unistore Limited, which can be redeemed exclusively against the purchase of products from the issuing brand on the Tata CLiQ platform, subject to applicable terms and conditions. The unused balance will be forfeited, and no refund or replacement will be issued.

  1. Redemption Terms
  • Brand Cash can only be redeemed on our Portals for the purchase of eligible products or services.
  • Redemption Process: At the cart total value, Brand Cash will automatically be applied depending as the promotional offer. If the purchase amount exceeds the Brand Cash applied, the difference must be paid using another accepted payment method.
  • Non-transferability: Brand Cash are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
  • Fraudulent Use: We are not responsible for any unauthorized use of a Brand Cash. If you suspect misuse, contact us immediately at [support email/contact].

  1. Validity and Expiry
  • Validity: Brand Cash promotion will remain valid for such period as may be decided, at the sole discretion of issuing Brand or Tata UniStore Ltd. You can check the same (i.e. value of Brand Cash, validity etc.) in My Account >> Brand Cash.
  • No Extensions: The validity period cannot be extended. Please ensure you redeem the Brand Cash within the specified time.

  1. Limitations and Prohibited Uses
  • Brand Cash are intended for personal use only.
  • Restrictions: Brand Cash cannot be used to purchase other Brand Cash or redeemed for cash or credit. They also may not be used in conjunction with certain promotional offers unless stated otherwise.

  1. Taxes & Charges
  • Prices displayed at checkout may be exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, levies, or other statutory dues, which shall be borne by the customer and calculated during checkout.
  • Additional VAT, GST or similar taxes may apply in addition to the unit sale price. However, the total cost (including such VAT, GST or similar taxes) will not exceed Maximum Retail Price.

  1. Returns and Refunds

Refunds for Orders Paid with Brand Cash: If you return a product purchased using Brand Cash, the amount will be refunded back to the same Brand Cash. Any portion paid via other methods will be refunded to the original payment method. Please note that Brand Cash refunds for eligible returns are available only during the continuation of promotional campaign.

  1. Standard Terms and Conditions

  • We, along with our affiliated sellers and partners, reserve the right to modify, extend, withdraw, or discontinue the Brand Cash and its associated Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice, and at our sole discretion. Such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Website, unless stated otherwise.
  • All purchases made using the Brand Cash shall be governed by the prevailing Terms of Use, Return and Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies as published on our Website. By redeeming the Brand Cash, the user agrees to comply with all such terms and conditions in force at the time of the transaction.

  1. Right to Modify / Suspend / Cancel:
  • We reserve the right to modify, Suspend, cancel, or terminate any Brand Cash or its terms at our discretion without prior notice. This includes the right to void or cancel a Brand Cash in cases of fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
  • We reserve the right to cancel a Brand Cash order for reasons including but not limited to Suspicious or fraudulent activity or Violation of Terms of Use.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, with respect to Brand Cash. In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of Brand Cash.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Tata UniStore Ltd. reserves the right to interpret these terms and conditions in good faith and in a manner consistent with applicable law and the purpose of these terms and any decision of Tata UniStore Ltd. will be final and binding to the user of Brand Cash. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to Brand Cash shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai.
