This set of 1 Pompon Owl showpiece from the Museum Sculpture collection by Mould is a tribute to Pompon, who was a famous French sculptor who studied under Rodin. He came to be known for his stylized animal figures. Between 1918 and 1923, Pompon focused his work on owls. He is known for his sculptures of animals, the most famous of them being that of the Polar Bear.
