This set of 1 Rheinhold The Darwin Monkey showpiece from the Museum Sculpture collection by Mould is a tribute to Wolfgang Hugo Rheinhold, a German philosopher who only developed into a Neo-classical sculptor later on in life. The small sculpture Monkey with skull attracted a great deal of attention at the Berlin Art Exhibition in 1893. It was Rheinhold¿s first sculpture as a professional sculptor and was an immediate commercial success.
