Katsumi - Muslin Dohar

The geometric tribal designed dohar from House Of Charu has been inspired by the beautiful tribal art work that adorns the village mud houses. The women proudly paint the beautiful design on the outer walls using natural dyes and colours. The colours are derived from the mud using iron oxide, manganese-rich clay and dudhi matti. It can be used as a light throw or as a cover at night. It has been skilfully crafted using three layers of fine muslin cotton. The centre has a beautiful design that reflects through the top and bottom layers. It comes with a cushion cover.
