The Mono Madonna rug is inspired by the famous biblical figure of the sacred Madonna. This painting is Salventius' way of paying homage to her and reintroducing her as a modern, feminine hero. The figure of Madonna has been drawn using a single line like in all of Salventius' paintings. It has been created with care using wool and bamboo silk.
